Main Responsibilities

As your Property Manager’s right hand, your passion for leading a team is only matched by your love for leasing.
As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Assist the Property Manager in managing all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and resident relations.
- Maintain accurate records of property-related transactions, leases, and tenant information using property management software.
- Assist with the leasing process, including showing available units to prospective tenants, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive bids for maintenance and repair projects, and oversee the execution of work.
- Assist in developing and implementing property budgets, including monitoring expenses, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports.
- Providing leadership and support to leasing team, to include development of goals and training on systems and processes.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in property management, real estate, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., RealPage, Knock).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as part of a team.
