The Talent and Engagement Recruitment internship will offer you a hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, providing you with the opportunity to develop skills in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding process assistance. As a Recruitment Intern, you will assist in various stages of the recruitment cycle, support recruitment efforts, and contribute to ensuring a smooth hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers. At the conclusion of the program, interns will deliver a comprehensive presentation with observations and recommendations to leadership and other program participants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Staffing and Recruitment Assistance
- Assist with the full recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Source candidates using job boards, social media platforms, and other recruiting channels.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, interests, and fit for open roles.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist in preparing interview materials and candidate profiles for hiring managers.
- Help track candidate progress and maintain an organized recruitment database.
- Communicate with candidates about their application status and next steps in the hiring process.
- Help with recruitment-related administrative tasks, including updating job descriptions and maintaining job postings.
- Prepare recruitment reports and assist with metrics tracking as needed.
- Help ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Contribute to employer branding activities and recruitment campaigns.
- Participate in HR department meetings and other HR-related projects as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- At the conclusion of the internship, the HR Recruitment Intern will prepare and present a comprehensive end-of-program presentation to the leadership team. This presentation will highlight the intern's contributions, key learnings, insights gained from recruitment activities, and any suggestions for improving the recruitment process. The intern will also showcase metrics, outcomes, and any successful initiatives or projects they were involved in during the internship.
