This position is responsible for maintaining the operations and compliance functions of Siharum Advisors, LLC (“the firm”), supporting the systems infrastructure of the firm, providing critical support to the firm’s mission of offering premier wealth management solutions to its clients, and continually improving the efficiency and efficacy of day-to-day operations. The Operations Associate reports to the Director of Operations and Compliance and works in close collaboration with the Client Services Team to support the firm’s Advisors.
The firm is an independent, open-architecture investment advisory firm, formed to serve high net worth individuals and foundations. The firm’s open- architecture platform, using only third-party managers, offers consulting services to clients with greater than $20 million in assets and discretionary asset management services to clients with greater than $2.5 million in investable assets. Founded in 2008, the firm currently has over $500 million in assets under management.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Ensure data integrity of all data used by the firm for trading and reporting purposes.
• Validate the completeness and accuracy of the firm’s trading and accounting platforms through daily checks and regular reconciliations to custodian data.
• Maintain and oversee all trade processing functions including security set-ups, client account set ups, trading model set-ups, and trade execution/reconciliations.
• Assist with all client service administrative needs, such as wire, journal, trade, and account requests, as well as ad-hoc client requests, and new client on-boarding processes.
• Provide professional handling of incoming phone calls and client requests.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of quarterly client reporting and assist with finalizing all outbound client communications, including letters, spreadsheets, performance, and other client reports.
• Maintain and develop productive working relationships with various client custodians and interested parties.
• Prepare materials and data for periodic internal meetings to review trade system configurations, portfolio data, and investment models and duly complete the implementation of any recommended changes.
• Implement the firm’s compliance program through periodic reviews, testing, reporting, and continual assessment of the controls structure.
• Assist with client meeting preparation, including creation of documents and conference room set-up.
• Assist with maintaining electronic filing systems including proper usage of the firm’s CRM.
• Assist with periodic training on the usage and maintenance of the firm’s CRM, trading systems, reporting systems, and compliance systems.
• Assist with updating the firm’s marketing materials.
• Proactively lead system projects for proper maintenance of IT infrastructure, improvements to systems, and monitoring of system upgrades.
Experience:
• Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Office) and adept at using Excel and learning new systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong understanding of the investment industry

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
