GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Ambassador - Cultural Champion serves as a key representative of Silver Key Senior Services, fostering community connections, embodying the organization's mission, and driving engagement with various stakeholders. This role is centered on being a cheerleader and champion for people interested in learning about Silver Key, proactively promoting solutions and opportunities that align with the organization's mission. The Ambassador will serve as the energy and voice for the CEO, permeating every aspect of Silver Key's reach while managing only their own tasks and relationships with new connections to the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a proactive ambassador for Silver Key's mission and services, strengthening community awareness and partnerships.
- Lead efforts to introduce new people to Silver Key, fostering positive relationships and engagement.
- Coordinate and manage community outreach initiatives, presentations, meetings, and facility tours.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, businesses, and stakeholders to support engagement and volunteer efforts.
- Enter and maintain accurate records in an intuitive contact management system (CRM).
- Embrace and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within all aspects of the role.
- Collaborate with team members to align goals with organizational objectives.
- Represent the CEO's energy, vision, and voice across all Silver Key initiatives and interactions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities but focuses on managing personal tasks and fostering relationships with new individuals connected to the organization.
VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Silver Key is a volunteer-centric organization. Regular interaction and engagement with volunteers are integral to this role. Responsibilities include showing appreciation for their contributions and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
DRIVING DUTIES
Occasional driving duties may be required. Employees must maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License, state-mandated automotive insurance, and adhere to all traffic laws.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Silver Key Senior Services is a drug-free organization. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen and background checks. This position requires a background check by Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS).

REQUIRED EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
DESIRABLE, PREFERRED, OR SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCY
Proficiency in an intuitive contact management system (CRM) and basic office software. Candidates for this position may be required to take and pass technology proficiency assessments prior to employment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to distill complex information for various audiences. Proficiency in non-English languages is highly valued.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs effectively.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to address problems with innovative solutions.
