What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dual Rate Table Games Floor Supervisor position at Silver Reef Casino Resort?
Summary: When scheduled as floor supervisor manage, direct and supervise the table games in an assigned area in accordance with established department procedures and policies. To provide excellent guest service. Ensure that the procedures and policies of the Silver Reef Casino are followed at all times. Maintain gaming equipment in assigned area. Rate players on games in assigned area or other pit areas. Alert shift managers to potential “red flags” in your pit area. Keep shift manager up to date with any player or employee matters in your pit area. Observers all tables in pit area at all times. Correct and prevent procedure violations, games security issues and monetary losses immediately.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one-year table games dealing experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Craps and/or Roulette and/or Black Jack.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to professionally communicate with guests and team members.
- Capable of dealing with a variety of guest related matters.
- Basic knowledge of player advantage and house advantage.
- Follows compliance and requirements for CTR and SAR.
Licensing Requirements:
- Class III Gaming License
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for integrity of all transactions and equipment on assigned table games.
- Ensure subordinates properly follow procedures and policies.
- Provide the necessary information to Pit/Shift Manager and relief supervisor for proper accounting of game.
- Ensure proper documentation of player information and all pit paperwork.
- Assist casino guests and casino team members on a daily basis.
- Maintain a courteous attitude and pleasant demeanor towards casino guests and fellow team members.
- Open and verify player information in the player rating system.
- Inform the shift manager of any “Red Flags”.
- Move around and observe all tables from different angles.
- Ensure daily that all gaming equipment is in proper working order.
- Correct procedure violations immediately.
- Ensure proper game security on all games.
- Reports to Pit/Shift Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Constantly grasping, using finger dexterity and wrist motion; standing; using eye/hand coordination; speaking, writing, hearing and seeing.
- Frequently walking, reaching, bending, and stooping.
- Standing for up to 3 hours at a time.
Working conditions:
- Work is performed inside in a climate-controlled environment.
- Work with others and independently.
- Moderate noise and smoke levels; some odors.
