Summary:
Service all guests within the Gift Shop within the scope of selling product and accepting payment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent guest service/people skills, has the ability to communicate with all levels of team members and guests.
- Knowledge of personal computer, typing, organizational skills; able to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to use electronic equipment including adding machine and telephone.
- Must have extremely outgoing and caring personality.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year customer service experience.
Licensing Requirements:
- Class II Gaming License
Essential Job Functions:
- Selling gift shop items
- Assisting with inventory and ordering and presentation of goods
- Keep area clean and tidy
- Understand and properly communicate the benefits and privileges of the club card.
- Answer clearly and understand all guest questions.
- Recognizes frequent guests.
- Recognize abusers of program and inform supervisor.
- Monitor promotions and awards prizes.
- Enters guest data into the computer.
- Operates embosser-encoder and computer.
- Makes necessary corrections concerning guest's information in the computer system.
- Maintains contact with other departments.
- Inform supervisor of all pertinent information that may affect the functioning of the club card booth.
- Keep supervisor aware of supply needs.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Constantly concentrating, remembering, attention to and observing details.
- Continuously standing for long periods of time; using eye/hand coordination; handling; wrist motion.
- Accurately counting money and making change while maintaining a positive demeanor
Working conditions:
- Works indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
