Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coat Prep Person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of metal parts before they undergo the powder coating process. This is an essential position that ensures our products meet the highest standards of quality and finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, sand, and prep metal components to ensure proper adhesion of powder coatings.
- Inspect parts for defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the preparation process, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Experience working with metal is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or finish/powder coating environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
