We are currently seeking a Hospice Regional Admissions Coordinator (LVN) in the Encino area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end-of-life care.
Shift Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)

Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Some college courses related to business administration preferred
- Must have an active Vocational Nurse License (LVN) for the state of California
- One year experience dealing with the public via telephone or in person, preferably in a customer service or inside sales role
- Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance
- Typing 50 words per minute, managing records/files, basic computer skills (i.e. Forms, Labels, Excel and Word)
- Prior hospice or palliative supportive care experience strongly preferred
What you'll be doing:
- Data entry, including keeping all admission tracking logs up to date
- Overcomes initial objections to hospice services and palliative and supportive care
- General admission coordination, including coordinating hospital discharges
- Manages the insurance verification and authorization process
- Schedules appropriate staff to meet with patient/families to discuss hospice and supportive care services in a timely manner
- Participate in related meetings
- Ensure all intake documents are completed per policy
- Exhibits empathetic communication style with patients, families, and associates, requiring the ability to remain calm and level-headed in emergencies
- Other duties as assigned
Anticipated pay range: $31 USD - $33 USD
