THE OPPORTUNITY
The Human Resources Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the HR department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes and policy enforcement, as well as maintenance of accurate employee records. This position involves assisting with on/offboarding, benefits, leaves of administration and workers compensation claims, support with payroll duties and other related HR activities.
This position will report to the Human Resources Generalist. This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday at Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.

Compensation
The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
CA Pay Range
$70,000 - $75,000 USD
NOTE - As a U.S. Federal Contractor, Silvus Technologies requires that ALL candidates being considered for employment for any position (regardless of level) MUST be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen). Stricter U.S. Citizen ONLY requirements are needed for some Engineering or R&D roles. This generally does NOT apply to International positions; only job postings for positions located in the U.S. Exceptions will be included in the Required Qualifications section of the posted position. Role And Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including assistance with job descriptions and coordination with hiring managers for new hire logistics. Serve as the point of contact with the recruiting team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records for personnel files.
- Assist the payroll team by supporting payroll with documentation, auditing or correcting time sheets and other payroll assistance.
- Assist the HR Generalist with benefits administration.
- Support the Director with any development and implementation of performance reviews, employee development or engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with and stay up to date with relevant HR laws and regulations.
- Assist with leaves of absence and workers compensation claims.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, supervisors, department leaders, and other team members to create partnerships that yield success and cohesion.
- Work in tandem with front desk coordinators for coverage or on various employee-related tasks or projects.
- Participate in HR and Payroll projects, events, and activities.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
- At least two years of solid experience in human resources, with hands-on experience in the areas of responsibility noted.
- Experience with leaves of absence processes and workers compensation claims.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite software programs.
- Demonstrated ability to independently and proactively problem-solve with strong critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with a high-level work ethic, and an ability to work independently.
- Ability to represent the company in a polished, professional, and articulate manner, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Present a positive, user-friendly attitude.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills for a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and exercise solid judgment.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with a strong initiative toward resourcefulness.
