JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Registrar of Operations serves as the University's compliance coordinator for the National Student Clearinghouse and National Student Loan Database and is responsible for maintaining accurate records and enrollment statuses. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting data problems, updating documentation, collaborating with staff across the University, and resolving data issues. This position will also serve as the liaison to Student Financial Services on student billing and registration. In addition, the Assistant Registrar prepares scheduled and ad hoc reports from the University student information system on enrollments, demographics, etc., for internal University use.

Data / Enrollment Reporting : (60%)
- Serve as Simmons' National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) repre sentative. Responsible for University compliance with the policies and regulations of the National Student Clearinghouse. Interpret new or revised Clearinghouse requirements and update Simmons' procedures and documentation accordingly, ensuring accurate submission of students' information.
- Prepares monthly uploads for the Clearinghouse; receives, review, interpret, and reconcile the discrepancies provided by the Clearinghouse; reconciles discrepancies in enrollment information shared between the Clearinghouse and the National Student Loan Database.
- Responsible for creating and disseminating internal data reports related to student programs and registration information at regular intervals and upon request. Monitors datqrequest@simmons.edu.
- Works with and provides information for the Compliance and Audit committees.
- Works in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Research.
