Opening available in our Cleveland office for an experienced Probate & Trust Administration paralegal. Partial remote work / remote option available.
Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferred 10 years' experience in administering probate estates and related trusts from start to finish.
Duties include preparing probate filings (inventories, accountings, notices, etc.), communicating with clients and courts, preparing necessary documents for trust administration (notices, trust accounts, etc.), and preparing and filing estate tax returns (706).
Candidate should be able to multitask, maintain administration files and work independently to track deadlines in order to assist attorneys with meeting all estate and trust related deadlines. Software used includes Puritas Springs, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, QuickBooks, online dockets and E-filing where applicable.
Prefer a candidate with familiarity with county-specific procedures in North East Ohio counties, including Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, Geauga, Summit, Portage, Wayne, and Stark.
