This Diagnostic Imaging Technologist role plays a vital part in delivering diagnostic imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate and timely results through close collaboration with radiologists and cardiologists.
Responsibilities:
- Execute all job duties and responsibilities of a Special Procedures and Cardiac Cath Technologist.
- Administer IV contrast media according to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following sterile techniques and radiation protection measures.
- Collaborate with Radiologists to develop protocols for special procedure imaging.
- Work effectively with Cardiologists to coordinate and deliver Cardiac Cath Services.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility from the IDNS (Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety)
- Registration or eligibility from ARRT (RTR)
- Certification in CPR
- Certification in BCLS
