The Lead Program Manager, Digital Transformation Initiatives exists to assist cross functional teams in the research, evaluation, planning and coordination of projects that address critical performance areas in the Digital Thread Initiative and the OTN DIB STEM project in compliance with the Statements of Work. The purpose of this research project is to develop new training models to enable small and medium-size manufacturers to rapidly and successfully transition to a digital manufacturing environment in support of defense and dual-use manufacturing needs.
The salary for this position begins at $68,778.00 and is determined commensurate with education and experience.

Principal Accountabilities
- Collect and analyze data
- Assist teams in developing detailed work plans
- Identify best practices and facilitate process improvements
- Conduct organizational needs assessment and perform applications/functional needs analysis
- Identify and utilize other resources to facilitate the work of teams
- Coordinate resources to carry out work plans and monitor progress
- Develop liaison relationships with other organizational units
- Report regularly on the status of projects and ensure communication is timely, complete, and accurate
- Responsible for the Digital Transformation Initiatives team, including ensuring the team meets the expected outcomes and deadlines of two projects, the Digital Thread Initiative and the OTN DIB STEM Consortium, as well as supporting the development of future projects.
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate team tasks
- Effectively communicate expectations and appropriately assign tasks.
- Develop and coordinate training for team members on timely subjects related to Digital Transformation and Sinclair practices
- Coach and council team members through regular feedback sessions, including the annual Sinclair Staff Performance Evaluation
- Encourage ongoing personal development for each individual, meeting the person at the current level of development and exploring personal goals.
- Maintain the annual budget for the Digital Thread Initiative and the OTN DIB Stem Consortium, as well as potential future projects
- Track team member leave requests to ensure adherence to the Sinclair policies and procedures
- As a member of the Workforce Development Strategic Team, effectively communicate the team success, active contracts, and needs to the Director of Workforce Development
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field required; master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three to five years’ work experience in one or more of the following: Information Technology, Data Analytics, Industrial Automation, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, and Autonomous Systems or a related field is required
- Project coordination, analytical, and problem solving skills required
- Proven ability to work effectively at all levels and across all institutional departments and with external partners required
- Proven ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with a variety of constituencies required
- Proven ability to listen, synthesize ideas, and build consensus required
- Proven understanding of organizational dynamics and development, group/meeting management, and conflict management required
- Extensive organizational awareness and our interrelationships with external organizations and entities required
- Proven ability to leverage organizational awareness and interrelationships with external organizations to promote process alignment, improvements, and re-engineering activities to drive project outcomes required
