This Product Manager will leverage our already-amazing culture of learning, experimentation, and trust to fully understand our customers, make strategic decisions about the product, and work with development teams to see their initiatives through to fruition. The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Objectives of this role
- Drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams
- Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs.-buy perspective
- Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
- Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met
- Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
- Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans

What you’ll be doing:
- Saving lives by improving our InformaCast mass emergency notification product
- Translate business strategy into product strategy
- Managing the product lifecycle from start to finish and making strategic product and company decisions as part of the Singlewire Product Management team
- Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues
- Using your entrepreneurial ability to find and prioritize high potential ideas
- Working with our UX organization to fully empathize with our customers/partners, then analyze and integrate their specifications into our product requirements
- Developing clear requirements/user stories, and then working with cross-functional agile teams to develop innovative new features
- Using data to track product performance and make decisions
- Communicating ideas all day long and doing it effectively across the organization
- Acceptance testing completed work
Stuff that will put you at the top of our list if you have 5 or more years of experience with:
- Developing a product strategy and clearly communicating that strategy as well as product decisions to all levels of the organization
- Effectively and efficiently working with agile software development teams, including developers, QA, project managers, and UX
- Experience working with customers to understand their true needs
- Experience prioritizing requirements/user stories against the competing needs from your stakeholders
The person we're looking for:

- Is detail-oriented, but doesn’t lose sight of the big picture

- Is a college grad with a degree in Computer Science or other technical area and at least 5 years of experience in a product-related field (as an engineer or product manager)
