Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring policy benefits are adjudicated according to contract provision wordings and within the claim authority limit.
- Computing the amount of benefit payable and ensuring claim requests are attended to within the agreed turnaround time.
- Continuously exploring ways to improve productivity and customer service through process automation and work with transformation squads to provide business requirements.
- Providing claims statistics and reports timely as required.
- Complying with regulatory and risk management controls, corporate policies, procedure and claims guidelines.
- Conducting claims technical workshops for financial advisers or internal teams.
- Managing external parties as part of claims process such as reinsurers, medical providers, law firms, auditors, regulatory bodies, financial advisers.
- Supporting any day-to-day administrative tasks as required.
