Job Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years personal injury litigation experience is required.
Experience with Georgia and Federal e-filing systems and protocols
Must be organized and capable of handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
Must perform assignments with speed and accuracy and create a professional work product.
Excellent proofreading and grammatical accuracy are required.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
A college degree and a Paralegal Certificate.
Experience with working with multiple attorneys.
Experience using client management software programs such as Filevine.
Experience with various file-sharing services, including Dropbox and ShareFile.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists attorneys in preparing cases for hearings and trials
- Schedules and prepares clients for depositions, mediations, and trials
- Drafts and files complaints with attorney assistance
- Maintains the litigation and the Statute of limitations calendars
- Works with attorneys and clients to answer and draft discovery
- Organizes and prepares files for depositions, hearings, and trials
- Tracks statutes, service of pleadings, and calendar deadlines
- E-files court documents in state and federal court
- Drafts letters and simple court documents with attorney supervision
- Locates witnesses for interviews and gathers witness statements
- Contacts expert witnesses to coordinate meetings, document exchanges, and appearances of expert witnesses as necessary
- Consistently communicates with clients and office personnel
- Documents all expenses in the client accounts, such as filing fees, travel, etc
