Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support and technical assistance to clients in various environments. This role requires a strong understanding of operating systems, software troubleshooting, and network configurations. The Field Technician will work closely with clients to resolve issues efficiently while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for hardware and software issues across various operating systems, including Mac OS and Windows Server.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to IT services, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
- Assist clients with VPN setup and configuration to ensure secure remote access.
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management, tracking issues from initiation through resolution.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide clear solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all service requests, resolutions, and client interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience in IT support or technical support roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, particularly Mac OS and Windows Server.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP is essential.
- Experience with software troubleshooting techniques is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
