In business since 1981, Sisters Bakery is a very popular bakery in Oregon. We get a lot of tourist activity year-round, as well as our growing wholesale demands as our baked goods are served throughout Central Oregon. We are expanding. Come and grow with us!
Posted hourly wage is starting wage including tips (credit card/cash) and the gas stipend (if applicable - read below). All hourly staff are part of the tip pool at the bakery. Tips are pooled during the 14 day pay period, split equally by hours worked. Starting wage can depend upon experience.
Benefit Recap: We pay gas for commuters 15 miles or more outside of Sisters. Full time employees are eligible for Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance, and an HSA. Very low monthly premiums, with the majority of the employee premium covered by Sisters Bakery. Great insurance coverage at local hospitals/healthcare providers. PTO after 1 year, unless in leadership position. Free shift food/drinks, employee discount.
Strong experience in fast-paced, high volume operations is encouraged.
Responsibilities include:
Baking off pastries and other items, running a Square POS cash drawer, ensuring excellent customer service by taking customers orders as they walk in the bakery, restocking front product, money/register handling, espresso making, answering phone and taking orders, cleaning, and other small duties, full day dish shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis for all FOH employees.
Must have superb customer service skills, and be a friendly person.
