Position Overview
The Coordinator of Fleet & Driver Assets is an instrumental role in supporting the fleet of vehicles and material handling equipment in a designated area.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the current vehicle and equipment fleet, as well as the location of each asset
- Develop and execute a preventative maintenance program for all area vehicles and equipment
- Provide superior customer service to all field Associates and Drivers as it relates to all fleet related inquiries or needs
- Report on life cycle of area assets
- Coordinate with area leadership on ordering and disposal of assets
Skills We Are Seeking
- 2 years of experience performing related functions
- Some general knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a changing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- High School / GED diploma preferred
