Position Overview

As a part of our dedicated team, Drivers are responsible for operating SiteOne vehicles to deliver world class service and products to our customers.

Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, in addition to working with teammates to ensure the branch is operating successfully.

What you’ll do :

• Load and unload products for deliveries
• Make deliveries and ensure product arrives undamaged
• Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
• Perform job duties within our safety guidelines. Job duties include, but are not limited to : Lifting and managing heavy objectsWorking in all weather conditions (drivers must be prepared to work in hot and cold temperatures).
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the store and other general duties while not driving

Estimated starting salary :

$19 / hr and up

Skills We Are Seeking

• Valid driver’s license required (non-CDL)
• Customer service or delivery experience preferred
• Must be comfortable unloading your own truck and lifting 50lbs on a consistent basis, in addition to performing physical requirements such as bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Must be able to read and write to record and maintain accurately daily paperwork
• Forklift experience, or willingness to be trained on forklift required

Bilingual / Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not required

• Knowledge of landscaping, live nursery material, and / or irrigation supplies is also a plus
• Must be ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
