Sitka Nursery is a brand-new plant nursery opening in Spring 2025! We are dedicated to providing our community with high-quality plants, expert gardening advice, and exceptional customer service. As we prepare to launch, we’re looking for passionate and hardworking individuals to help us grow from the ground up.
Position Summary:
As a team member at Sitka Nursery, you’ll play a key role in shaping the success of our business. You’ll work hands-on in a dynamic environment, assisting customers, caring for plants, and supporting daily operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fresh and growing business where your contributions will make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with plant selection and care advice.
- Water, prune, and maintain plants to ensure health and presentation standards.
- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory, including plants, tools, and supplies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the nursery and retail areas.
- Support seasonal promotions, special events, and the grand opening!
Qualifications:
- A love for plants and gardening (previous experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn about plant care and the nursery industry.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
