Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary care provider for both long-term and short-term residents. Conduct health assessments by visiting patients, performing physical exams, and reviewing medical histories.
- Work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with attending physicians and nursing home staff to deliver the highest quality of care.
- Build relationships with residents and their families, providing education and creating evidence-based care plans that align with each patient's needs and preferences.
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring compliance and advising management on necessary actions.
- Enhance professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and involvement in professional societies.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to all procedures, rules, and regulations while respecting cultural, personal, and religious beliefs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including charting, administering medications, and following care protocols.
Qualifications:
- Strong skills in health promotion, clinical expertise, communication, medical teamwork, infection control, pain management, and self-development.
- Must be Board Certified.
- Extensive training will be provided.
