Commercial Construction Estimator / Project Manager

Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually (Dependent on experience)

Our client a respected leader in commercial construction services across the U.S. is urgently seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator / Project Manager to join their Baton Rouge team.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate accurate, competitive cost estimates for commercial projects with a focus on caulking, waterproofing, roofing, and protective coatings, using Stack estimating software.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop detailed scopes and pricing.
• Lead and manage projects independently from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
• Analyze labor, materials, and timelines to create cost-effective bids.
• Identify project risks early and recommend proactive solutions.
• Stay current on industry standards, pricing trends, and material/labor costs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating with an emphasis on waterproofing, caulking, roofing, or protective coatings (highly preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience managing commercial construction projects end-to-end.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings.
• Experience with estimating software (Stack preferred).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
