Responsibilities and Expectations
As a Custodian Lead, you will be expected to:
- Back up custodial staff with custodial job duties.
- Coach, mentor, and resolve employee concerns in a respectful and mutually beneficial manner.
- Monitor employees to ensure efficient use of time, performance, and understanding of work tasks.
- Record daily personnel attendance and track employee absences, tardiness, etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-3 years of previous custodian or janitorial experience preferred.
- Previous leadership skills or experience working in a supervisory role is an asset.
