Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to lead our psychiatric residential team and ensure the highest standards of patient care. The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including JCAHO. This role requires a strong background in residential care for teens and residential direct care administration, as well as the ability to foster a collaborative environment that promotes quality care.
Duties
- Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficient service delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage and mentor clinical staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including JCAHO standards, to maintain accreditation and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient services and improve overall healthcare delivery.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate training programs for staff on medical management practices and emerging healthcare trends.
- Serve as a liaison between administration, clinical staff, and external stakeholders to promote effective communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in healthcare management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of JCAHO standards and medical management principles.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to enhance clinical operations.
- A degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees are a plus.
