We are currently seeking a motivated Accountant with payroll and Human Resources experience to join our team. As an Accountant at Sky Lake Construction, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial success and stability of our company. Key Responsibilities:

· Human resources and payroll for 50 employees, timely filing and paying of payroll taxes, 401k deposits, compiling quarterly reports, annual W2s and 1099s, as well as onboarding duties, maintaining employee documentation, and tracking time-off for all employees

· Manage multiple aspects of the company's financial transactions, including but not limited to payroll and human resources, accounts payable, and budgets

· Perform daily accounting tasks such as invoice data entry, journal entries, deposits, and other data entries

· Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to project managers.

· Reconciliation of budgets and vendor statements

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions

· Maintain and update financial records and databases

· Ability to multi-task and assist other team members and CFO, when necessary

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and payroll

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as with a team

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
