About The Role
As the Director of IT at Skydio, you will lead a team to manage and scale the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and services across all locations. You will drive strategic initiatives that enhance IT operations, focusing on scalability, security, and user experience. This role requires a hands-on approach to solve immediate challenges while planning long-term improvements.
What You Will Do
- Oversee the development, deployment, and support of IT systems, including network, application, and end-user services.
- Work with engineering, product, and operations teams to align IT initiatives and support Skydio's specific project requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of IT strategies that align with business growth and operational needs.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures to protect Skydio's assets and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement systems that enhance productivity and support company goals.
- Foster a high-performing team by recruiting, developing, and mentoring IT professionals
What You Will Bring
Compensation : At Skydio, our compensation packages for full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of options, comprehensive benefits, and various incentives and stipends. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $245,000
