What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Peer Support Supervisor position at Skypoint Recovery?
Overview:
This position oversees the implementation and delivery of Peer Support Services for clients with mental health and/or substance use disorders (SUDs) and provides administrative supervision to employees.
Administration and Management:
· Direct the treatment of services for assigned clients as defined by the agency and service goals, philosophy, mission statement, values, principles, and applicable standards.
· Provides supervision to Certified Peer Recovery Support staff.
· Help to develop the program budget, review and approve expenditures within defined limits, and make responsible decisions to provide efficient operation of the service. Work to achieve units and net return goals.
· Provide consultation, liaison, or education information with other community agencies or organizations.
· Develop and monitor achievement of key service goals, productivity goals, clinical outcomes, and compliance with benefit limits.
· Supervise direct reports, which includes conducting Performance Reviews, monitoring time off, and scheduling to ensure coverage for the service.
· Provide leadership to accomplish the treatment of services for the assigned clients as defined by the Company and product goals, philosophy, vision, mission, foundations of quality and principles, and CARF, Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS), and Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) standards.
· Follow, support, and aid in the development of personnel policies and standard operating procedures.
· Provide individual new employee orientation and ongoing training for direct reports.
· Provide and document individual and group supervision, including a defined number of hours per month of field supervision and supervision with peers.
Collaborate new projects with additional stakeholders in the community.
Direct Service
· Provide casework for assigned clients, including assessment, establishing service plans, monitoring progress, screenings, scheduling, and linking clients to services.
· Participate with SUD clients and other staff to initiate, evaluate, and revise Individualized Service Plans.
· Document clinical work through progress notes and other forms as appropriate.
· Create and implement Peer Groups effective to help people with SUD recovery.
· Maintain a working knowledge of cases assigned to identify staff. Review cases and direct assignments.
· Provide back-up to staff in the form of problem-solving, consultation, and intervention for clients, family members, or professionals involved with services
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Professional with direct, lived experience with Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter Certification or a licensed clinician defined by OMHAS.
Enrolled as a provider with a National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Enrolled as a provider with the Ohio Department of Medicaid.
Working knowledge of computers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.28 - $25.63 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
