Position Overview
We are seeking a Paralegal to work in our Child Victims Act (CVA) Department in our Baltimore office. Experience with negligence, personal injury, or medical malpractice cases is helpful. Must be reliable and professional to work as part of our close-knit team. The ideal candidate is organized and able to prioritize tasks. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with clients.
- Calendar management.
- Drafting legal documents.
- Preparing and exchanging discovery demands, responses and authorizations.
- Scheduling depositions.
- Obtaining and exchanging medical records.
- Court filings.
- Other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm environment.
- Paralegal Certification preferred.
Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
