Job Title:- Project Manager
Job Location:- Dallas Fort Worth TX (hybrid 2-3 days a week)
Type:- Fulltime
Note: - Client interview will be F2F after first round of virtual interview.
Role Description:
• Uses Agile methodologies, determines business requirements, translates them into user stories, and tracks them through the complete development life-cycle
• Serves as conduit between developers, architects, and designers, and with business unit
• Work to empower the squad and remove impediments that prevent the squad from bringing work to "done"
• Ensure that regular visioning, road mapping and planning sessions provide the squad with a healthy backlog of work in collaboration with product stakeholders
• Lead and facilitate all agile ceremonies for the team- iteration planning, story estimation, daily stand-up meetings, demos, and retrospectives
• Mentor and coach team to ensure successful use of Agile @ American practices
• Contribute to the velocity of the squad by delivering on the product backlog
• Maintain a relentless focus on customer value
Skills and experience required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• 7 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience working alongside product ownership and software engineers to build, test, and automate testing of large-scale applications in hosted production environments
• 5 years of experience leading Agile teams with various levels of skills and experience and initiatives
• Experience managing or developing applications hosted in a Cloud Environment.
• Experience with a modern Agile Backlog and Work Tracking system—Microsoft ADO expertise preferred
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects/teams simultaneously and to effectively adapt to rapidly changing environment
• Proficiency in eliciting and documenting requirements and leading all phases of the SDLC
• A mastery of agile practices including product management, product ownership fundamentals, and SCRUM
