Job Description:
The Field Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our field operations by ensuring compliance with company procedures, managing administrative tasks, and facilitating communication between field teams and office staff. This role involves overseeing field processes, handling paperwork, and maintaining a high standard of operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Management:
- Review and approve timesheets, ensuring accurate and timely submissions of hours, jobs and time off requests
- Confirm that daily reports, project photos, attendance, and other documentation adhere to company policies and procedures
- Manage equipment rentals and confirmations, ensuring all necessary tools are available for field teams
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
- Complete talent acquisition efforts, including onboarding new field team members
- Provide onboarding introductions, set up logins, and ensure new hires are fully equipped to start their roles
Field Operations Oversight:
- Attend team meetings and assign tasks as needed to ensure smooth operation of field activities
- Maintain a Playbook for field teams, providing easy access to necessary resources and information
- Obtain and renew required field licenses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Quality and Compliance Control:
- Review installs in real-time for accuracy, providing immediate feedback and ensuring high standards are met
- Visit onsite with install teams and conduct ride alongs weekly
- Follow and train safety protocols, emphasizing the importance of safe working practices in all field activities
- Execute executive initiatives, translating strategic goals into actionable tasks for field teams
Communication and Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams, including installation and technical support, to ensure timely and effective service delivery
- Serve as a communication hub between field teams and office staff, facilitating the flow of information and addressing any operational challenges
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a field administration or similar role, preferably in the solar or construction industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with field and office teams
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and other relevant software
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic technical skills and knowledge of solar energy products are a plus
Work Environment:
Must live in Denver area
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:45 am start
In office and field required. Some travel to other markets 25%
Office environment: Standard office noise levels, potential interruptions, and prolonged periods of computer work.
