The Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting, data enrichment and lead development activities for select products/programs to further qualify and educate the marketing qualified lead (MQL) with the objective of scheduling a discovery call and/or handing off sales qualified lead (SQL) to the field sales team to drive business opportunities.
We are looking for high energy, driven individuals with a strong administrative and clinical aptitude that can work in a team environment. The ability to be coached and directed will assist in making this job a success. Responsibilities unique to this position are having the ability to build strong relationships with external prospects and customers, the client commercial team, and leadership across the Endoscopy and Urology divisions of ***.
Responsibilities include:
· Maintain and update current and prospective target customer profiles
· Complete ‘cold’ and ‘warm’ outreach and follow up to MQLs to advance sales process
· Classify prospect/customer clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care
· Determine where our therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution
· Scheduling virtual calls to meet with physicians
· Schedule discovery calls and in-person meetings in coordination with field sales as needed
· Provide timely updates to Change Manager on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends, etc.
· Successfully completes all assigned training for the role as well as dedicates the necessary time to both retain and build the on foundational product and clinical training
· Conduct all sales activities according to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, Advamed Policies, and Integrity Policies
· Compliance with promotional program and lunch and learns for HCPs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced virtual environment
· Ability to adapt quickly meeting the demands of the business while making an impact
· Experience building relationships with key customers
Preferred Experience:
· 2 years of related internships, clinical and/or B2B sales experience
· Salesforce.com experience
· Tableau experience
· Medical device or other healthcare or B2B sales experience
