About The Role

SmartMoving is looking for an experienced Office Manager to provide comprehensive support in our Dallas, TX office. If you are an experienced professional that likes to work in a hands-on, fast-paced, high-growth environment, we invite you to apply.
SmartMoving seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our team as an Office Manager. This unique role combines responsibilities across office management, human resources, IT support, and executive assistance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide essential support to our team and leadership. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills, a knack for technology, and a passion for creating a productive work environment.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Office Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
    • Manage and oversee office maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships.
    • Manage office supplies, equipment and space planning to accommodate team needs.

  • HR Support
    • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation and conducting orientations.
    • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities, annual corporate retreat and employee wellness programs.

  • IT Support
    • Manage the setup, maintenance and tracking of hardware, software and user accounts.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving basic technical problems.
    • Liaise with external IT vendors for advanced support and system maintenance.

  • Executive Support
    • Manage complex calendars, ensuring optimal time utilization and alignment with strategic priorities.
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication skills.


What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a multifaceted administrative, HR, or IT role, preferably in a faced paced environment.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, HRIS and IT ticketing systems.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a high level of adaptability.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
