What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Child Care position at Smilez Child Care Llc?
- Directs, organizes and administers child care programs.
- Level 1 or 2 with atleast 3 years of experience working in either a 3 or 4 SCALES rated center.
- A working knowledge of DCDEE licensing standards and the ability to implement and teach licensing compliance is a priority.
- Directs integrated programs covering basic childcare, education, social service, nutrition and parent involvement and education.
- Supervises the development and coordination of curriculum, activities and special programs for children.
- Develops and manages childcare program budgets.
- Ensures program operations are following donor, grant or regulatory agencies requirements.
- Liaises with parent groups and coordinates the implementation of support services and activities.
- Implements suggestions received from parents as appropriate.
- Ensures adherence to established admissions guidelines.
- Ensures adequate records and files are maintained for each child.
- Generates reports as required based on program activity.
- Directs the maintenance of the childcare facility, parking area, play yards and outside equipment.
