About the Role:

Reporting to the CFO, the VP, Finance will lead and manage the Credit Union’s Accounting and Finance functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing general ledger reconciliations, accounting systems, monthly close procedures, daily cash position management, allowance for credit loss analysis, compliance with GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning. This role is integral in partnering with leaders across the organization to provide insights and drive data-driven decision-making. The VP, Finance will lead the Accounting and FP&A teams and offer ongoing financial guidance to the leadership team.

This is a hybrid role, balancing between working in the office and remotely to best support individual success.


Requirements:

  • 10 years of progressive experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting and financial software.
  • Monarch data extraction of similar product experience preferred.
  • Travel will be required for ongoing training, meetings, and/or other business needs.
