Vice President Finance – Investment Management
Wellesley Asset Management is a top-ranked independent advisory firm, with 30 employees and $2 billion of Assets Under Management. The Firm was started in 1991 and specializes in the management of convertible bonds for high-net worth clients, institutions, and other investment advisors across the country. The Firm provides investment management services through separate managed accounts, mutual funds and a private hedge fund. The Vice President of Finance reports to the CFO. The Firm’s corporate office is in Portsmouth, NH, accordingly, residing near Portsmouth, NH or North Shore of MA is a requirement.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate must have extensive finance and accounting knowledge, a great attention to detail, and possess 10 years of accounting / finance responsibilities, preferably in the investment management industry.
The Candidate must :
- Be a current licensed CPA - with Public Accounting firm experience; “Big Four” is a plus.
- Be a strong team player, organized and be able to prioritize tasks to ensure strict deadlines and milestones are achieved.
- Deliver excellent analytical skills with the ability to multi-task and transition from accounting duties to communicating complex issues and resolutions.
