Cafe/Snack Bar Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of snacks and beverages. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food handling and safety standards are met. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently.
• Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and other food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area, including equipment and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for sales.
• Assist in restocking inventory as needed to ensure product availability.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards.
• Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
• Basic math skills for managing sales transactions effectively.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts related to inventory management is beneficial.
• Previous experience in the food industry or culinary field is an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
