Seeking an Advanced Quality Assurance Analyst to support infrastructure remediation for systems interfacing with statewide accounting data.
BackgroundOver 1,500 computing assets have been identified as performing financial planning, analysis, or management functions affected by the accounting system upgrade.
Key transition drivers include:

Adoption of Florida PALM's standardized business process model

Transition to the new Chart of Accounts

Redevelopment of agency interfaces

Implementation of Information Warehouse data for reporting
Over 120 of the affected computing assets are interfaces, many of which require complete redevelopment due to outdated technology.
General Responsibilities-
Plan and implement testing for regression, functional, data validation, integration, load, and performance.

Develop and execute test plans to ensure quality software delivery.

Write test cases/scripts, automate test cases, and conduct test execution.
-
Define and track QA metrics (defects, test results, status, etc.).
-
Evaluate and improve software processes.
-
Document and help resolve issues.
-
Collaborate with developers on testing strategy and integration.
-
Work closely with stakeholders to create and automate test cases.
-
Analyze test results and recommend improvements.
-
Maintain defect databases and verify fixes.
-
Support user acceptance testing.
-
Apply automated testing approaches such as model-based or record-and-replay.
-
Research and implement new testing tools and methodologies.
-
Promote testing best practices and deliver QA training.
-
Monitor, track, and report defects.
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

OR two (2) years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
-
3–5 years in Software Quality Assurance or related field.
-
3–5 years in automated testing (e.g., Selenium WebDriver).
-
Experience in DevOps environments – highly desired.
-
Experience with ETL testing, including Informatica – highly desired.

Minimum 3 years developing and executing test processes across systems.
-
Minimum 3 years in a leadership, supervisory, or team lead role.

2–3 years with Enterprise Architecture.

2–3 years experience with FDOT's Client – highly desired.

Knowledge of Informatica IICS Cloud and Snowflake – highly desired.
