- Local Candidates Only : Due to the hybrid work model, only local candidates or those willing to relocate will be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable :
- Oversee all aspects of medical billing, collaborating with the patient care team to ensure accuracy.
- Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team on billing and collection processes
- Maintain payor rates, general ledger coding, and charge structures in the billing system
- Perform accounts receivable closing and generate month-end aging reportsAccounting :
- Prepare month-end journal entries and analyze statistical & financial data.
- Manage miscellaneous billings and pass-through expenses.
- Act as a backup for payroll and accounts payable.
- Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and submit government-mandated reports, including Medicare Cost Reports and California Annual Utilization Reports.
- Assist the CFO with audits and manage Fixed Asset Accounting.Additional Responsibilities :
- Support all departments with financial-related inquiries.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and clear communication.
- Ensure compliance with safety and HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the CFO.What You Bring :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
- Strong background in budget preparation, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and revenue cycle management.
- Experience managing billing & collections (healthcare experience is a plus!).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
