Job Description:
The primary duty for this position is verifying document imaging using a computer. Must be able to review documents to confirm image type, page count, etc. Retrieves, stores, and coordinates destruction of scanned batches (this requires lifting boxes) and manages incoming faxes and distribution. In addition, updates medical provider records, coordinates W-9 tax form updates and prints and mails medical claim response letters. Must be able to scan documents assigned (new & old documents) and backs up the Utility and Inventory Specialist (mailroom) and the Receptionist when needed.
Technical Skills:
- Good organizational skills
- Requires accuracy with attention to detail
- Knowledge of imaging software/technology
- Knowledge of scanner maintenance
- Knowledge of ISSI system
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- At least one year of general office experience
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
