This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and the ability to navigate various accounting software.
Duties
- Contact tenants via phone and email to collect outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions in the financial software.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure all payments are accounted for.
- Utilize telemarketing skills to reach out to potential clients for payment arrangements.
- Apply knowledge of medical terminology when dealing with healthcare-related accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable department to ensure accurate billing processes.
- Stay informed about financial concepts and coding practices relevant to collections.
Requirements
- Proven experience in telemarketing or customer service roles.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial software applications.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and account reconciliation techniques.
- Understanding of financial concepts as they relate to collections.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts effectively.
- Previous experience with medical terminology is a plus but not required.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
