The Role (What)
This position will be accountable for monitoring the workflow of equipment B & C from the supplier/contractor to the project warehouses or locations in accordance with the delivery times defined in the contractual documents, Statements of Work and/or POs, the project schedule, budget and in compliance with Client's procurement and business ethics standards.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities (How):
- Monitor and track the progress of delivery of B and C equipment.
- Ensure that orders are accurate and that suppliers meet the technical specification.
- Identify and resolve any supplier production or supplier logistical issues that could delay delivery and impact the project schedule
- Keep in contact with suppliers to check progress of items and verify quality and packaging.
- Coordinate with the Storage Area responsible the delivery of the equipment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics, or a relevant field of study, or equivalent specific experience of five (5) years as an expeditor in large projects
- Five (5) years of experience in expediting activities in large projects in life science, preferred
- Knowledge background in Coupa, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Expediting methodologies, processes, and practices
- Microsoft Office Suite Experience - 2 years
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Great attention to detail
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Excellent organizational skills
