Schedule :  Full-time, Monday - Friday with flexibility

Job Overview

A private individual seeks an experienced  House Manager /   Chef  to oversee daily operations, meal preparation, and travel coordination. This role requires a highly organized, proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a professional yet warm demeanor.

Responsibilities : Culinary

  • Prepare light lunches, dinners, and light snacks (some meals must be prepped a day in advance).
  • Cook breakfasts upon request (can often be pre-prepared).
  • Ensure the fridge and pantry are well-stocked.
  • Occasionally prepare meals for a nearby studio and during travel.

Household & Property Management

  • Oversee daily maintenance and renovations for Brooklyn and Upstate properties.
  • Develop household guidelines and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain a tidy, organized kitchen with light housekeeping duties.
  • Oversee housekeepers twice a week
  • Manage household errands (shopping, dry cleaning, organizing, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the household driver.
  • Run personal errands

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3- 5 years of experience as a chef
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Culinary Degree is preferred
  • Excellent references from previous employers
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Discreet, professional, and respectful with guests and household members.
  • Problem-solver who anticipates needs.
  • Comfortable managing staff and vendors.
  • Occasional travel to Upstate NY required.
  • Flexibility in schedule is essential.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid US Work Authorization
