We’re not just any home builder—Sockeye Homes and our subsidiary, SkyDADU, are the industry-leading one-stop shop for custom home building, remodeling, and DADU (Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit) projects. With 80–90 projects completed annually, an in-house team of 42 top-tier professionals (from designers to construction crews), and projects lined up well into 2026, our reputation truly speaks for itself.
Here’s the exciting part: our stellar work has generated so much buzz that we have more clients eager to work with us than ever before. And that’s where YOU come in.
If you’re an interior designer who thrives on collaborating with clients, has an eagle eye for detail, and can create engineering-level plans, we’d love to have you on board. Join a team that’s not just building homes—it’s crafting dreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Conduct on-site visits to clients' homes and collaborate with them to identify their needs and preferences. Transform these insights into detailed design concepts and comprehensive layouts.
- Technical Drawings: Utilize a CAD program (e.g., AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit) to create precise, engineering-level plans, including floor plans for space planning, wall elevations, and 3D models. Develop visuals that enable clients to clearly envision their upcoming transformations.
- Package and Material Selection: Develop a strong understanding of our kitchen & bathroom package offerings. For clients pursuing custom remodels, research and recommend materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the project’s design vision and budget.
- Project Coordination: Support clients and collaborate with in-house teammates—including project managers, architects, jobsite superintendents, and the accounting department—to secure timely client approvals, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Budget Management: Estimate costs, prepare budgets, and input data into the accounting system to ensure projects remain on track financially.
- Quality Assurance: Perform on-site inspections before material procurement to ensure the final output aligns with design plans and specifications.
