Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education principles.
- Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Provide individualized support to children, including those with special needs or disabilities.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff through effective communication.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning and exploration.
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintain first aid readiness in the classroom.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Experience
- Proven experience in preschool or toddler care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for working with diverse learners.
- Experience working with students who have special educational needs or disabilities is a plus.
- Previous roles such as nannying or caregiving can be beneficial in understanding child development stages.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required within the first 90 days of employment.
