Job Description
The Divisional Finance Director will play a critical role in driving the financial performance and health of the division. Working closely with business and operational leaders, as well as the corporate finance team, this individual will ensure accurate revenue recognition, efficient billing processes, and maintain strong financial hygiene. The Divisional Finance Director will monitor ongoing project performance, control costs, provide actionable financial analysis, and support forecasting and budgeting efforts. This position reports into the US CFO.
- Partner with business and operations leaders to align financial strategy with divisional goals.
- Oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Manage billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Monitor the financial performance of ongoing projects, providing cost control and profitability analysis.
- Develop and provide insightful financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate on the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Improve order to cash performance in collaboration with the corporate team.
- Maintain strong financial hygiene by ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations and proper documentation.
- Support internal and external audit processes as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on project-based industries preferred.
- Proven experience partnering with business and operations teams.
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and cost control practices.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
