What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Sofos Realty Corporation?
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statement packages for assigned properties in a timely and accurate manner which includes cash projection and budget variance analysis reports.
Calculate and prepare owner distributions or contribution from owner, to be provided with financial statements, percentage management fee, and general excise tax returns.
Post tenant charges and adjustments per new or amended leases as well as lease terminations and generate monthly billing statements.
Prepare annual budgets and common area maintenance (CAM) reconciliations by the due dates as specified in the property management agreements.
This position requires a basic understanding of accounting principles and company accounting procedures as well as the flow of information/functions of the accounting program, under the guidance of the Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller. Position is responsible for approximately 5 - 10 properties of various types, sizes and tenancies.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $31.25 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
