POSITION SUMMARY :
Receptionist - Office Support Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to Office Support, with the possibility of assisting departments throughout the company. The primary duty of this position is to filter incoming calls from the front desk and to direct calls to the appropriate person. Starting in this role allows you to grow into any department within the company and is a great opportunity to get to understand SCC Soft Computer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensures the front desk is covered at all times during office hours.
- Filter incoming phone calls while maintaining the confidentiality of our employees.
- Greet and welcome any visitors that come to the building.
- Sign in clients, candidates, and visitors. Issue a badge to them for identification and notify the according party of their arrival.
- Be able to communicate clearly and portray professionalism to employees of different levels- ranging from Technical Support Associates to Executive Management.
- Assist the Office Support department with any administrative duties to ensure coverage.
Education Required :
A high school degree is required. We are looking for someone who is currently in a certification or degree program looking to complete program while gaining work experience- an Associate’s is preferred.
Experience Required :
Previous customer service experience preferred.
