Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Benefits Manager for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities :
The Benefits Lead supports the implementation and administration of health and welfare benefits programs, practices and policies. Manages relationships with third party vendors in support of the organization's benefits philosophy and policies and serves as an advocate for employees to ensure excellent service.
- Leads the Benefits Team in the daily administration of all benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
- Implements and maintains processes and procedures to ensure benefit programs are administered in compliance with the law and with plan documents.
- Leads by managing ongoing relationships with external vendors and consultants to ensure a smooth delivery of all benefit programs.
- Leads the planning, preparation and distribution of written and verbal benefits communications for employees with internal and external benefits communication teams so that they are consistent with the Rush Mission / Vision / Values.
- Develops, organizes, and tracks workflow and processes completed by the Benefits team.
- Validates and coordinates the work of the Benefit Analysts.
- Identifies, suggests and implements ongoing process improvements.
- Leads the annual Open Enrollment process.
- Acts as liaison to the Employee Service Center.
- Acts as the knowledge resource for employees and benefit team members.
- Assists with the hiring, training and reviewing performance of benefits staff.
- Participates in benefit surveys.
- Additional duties and projects as assigned.
