Our firm focuses on complex commercial litigation, handling a variety of cases related to distressed debt, real estate and land title disputes, and complex consumer financial services. Join us and contribute to our legacy of legal excellence while advancing your career in a dynamic, supportive environment.Salary : $225,000.00 - $400,000.00 per yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities : Handle complex litigation in both state and federal courts, with a focus on bankruptcy, distressed debt, and financial services.Take primary responsibility for depositions, court appearances, and motion arguments.Develop litigation strategies and gather evidence for effectively managing various cases.Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure comprehensive defense preparation and representation in trials.Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of case progress and develop long-term relationships.Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and areas of expertise.Minimum Position Qualifications : Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice in Connecticut; dual admission in New York is considered a plus.1-4 years of experience in commercial litigation or related fields.Excellent writing skills with a strong ability to draft motions, briefs, and legal arguments.Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal research and analysis.Strong academic background.Preferred Qualifications : Experience directly handling distressed debt and real estate litigation.Background in handling complex consumer financial services litigation.Previous first-chair experience in court hearings and trials.Experience in bankruptcy proceedings is highly desirable.Proven track record of performing under pressure and maintaining diligent case management.Capability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Skills : Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office.Adept at balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in client matters.Benefits : Competitive salary and bonus structure based on performance and results.Comprehensive health insurance, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) plan with firm matching contributions.Paid time off for vacation, personal time, and wellness.Continuing education programs and professional development support.Access to state-of-the-art technology and legal resources to support practice needs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
